On-chain Fees
On-chain verification fees for Pyth contracts
A Pyth contract charges its fee in the chain's native token each time it verifies a price update.
Pyth Pro
The Pyth Pro contracts charge a nominal fee for each price update they verify.
| Chain | Fee per verification |
|---|---|
| EVM | 1 wei |
| Solana | 1 lamport |
| Sui, IOTA, Cardano, Stellar | 0 |
Pyth Core
The Pyth Core contracts charge no fee on EVM, Solana and Sui.
Pyth governance zeroed the fee in OP-PIP-128, so EVM chains no longer have a per-chain fee schedule to consult.
Passing 0 as msg.value to updatePriceFeeds is sufficient on every network.
Integrations that call getUpdateFee keep working unchanged — it returns the
authoritative fee for a given chain, which is now 0.
